Learning is considered one of the most important mental functions of humans; it is the process in which an individual takes up knowledge or beliefs. Learning is the development of memories and human behaviors that would include understanding, wisdom, values, skills and knowledge. Its main aim is to increase an individual’s experience. When an individual learns, they automatically strengthen, organize and shape their brains.
Usually any individual would define learning as the process of acquiring knowledge. There are many universities that still undergo the method of pouring the information from the lecturer to the students and then testing then if they can repeat it. However in many circumstances academic knowledge is not enough. For example, you may know how to ride a bicycle, you sit on the saddle, use your hands to steer the wheel and use your feet to paddle. But this knowledge will not stop you from falling off the bike the first time you try riding it. It is considered very important to be able to do things besides interpreting the knowledge given to you.
