The PHILIPPINE CENTER FOR ADVANCED MARITIME
SIMULATION AND TRAINING, INC. (PHILCAMSAT), formerly PTC training Center, was established in May 26, 1992, to develop world-class capability in Filipino seafarers.
PHILCAMSAT was the first maritime training center in the Philippines thrice-certified by Det Norske Veritas with the following certifications:

It is the first training center in the Philippines to acquire the Kongsberg Norcontrol Polaris Full Mission Ship Bridge Simulator, Engine Room Simulator Plant Propulsion Trainer and the Liquid Cargo Handling Simulator.
