Introduction
For this course of History we have get an assignment to make a report. That’s why I choose to make my report about US remaining superpower. The reason why I choose this subject is because United States has a lot of influence in our life. And everywhere we go we hear something about this country.
The United States is the solo remaining superpower in this world. But it confronts difficulty to maintain their power. That’s why they came with strategy to remain superpower. In this report you will find the definition of superpower, where the word came from and what the US important strategy. And also countries that have the potential to become superpower.
Superpower
A superpower is a state that has a lot of power, which can influence events and project powers on worldwide scale. When we talk about superpower we think about the United States, because everybody knows that, this is a state with a lot of power. But the used of this term begin during the Cold War, when the United States and the soviet Union was the two states with a lot of power, and that have influences on others states over the world. But there are other countries with different types of powers in this world.
We can categorize this power from lowest to highest. These powers are: Middle power, Great power, Major power, Superpower and Hyperpower. So you can see that superpower is one of the greatest powers of the world. And that power has only one country and that country is the United States of America.
