What would happen if Obama did become the president? Well in my opinion, Obama would be a great president. Why, because he would be the first Black to
become President in United States. Obama's goals are health care reform, war in Iraq, and taxes. These topics would be reform so Americans would live happily.
How he would do this is by changing it if he becomes President. This would also mean he would be first Black to become a president with good reform to make it
easier in everyday life for middle class status.
First of all, Obama would change the health care. The reason for this is because people are too often offered two extremes and they are government run health
care with higher taxes or letting the insurance companies operate without rules. But Obama's plans is to provide accessable and patients will be able to make health
care decisions with their doctors, instead of being blocked by insurance company bureaucrats. Under this plan the current health insurance doesnt change but your
cost will go down by as much as $2,500 per year. So the benifits are lower costs for businesses by covering a portion of the catastrophic health costs they pay in
return for lower premiums for employees. Therefore, a efficient health care for people who can't afford it is benificial.
Second of all, the new president would end the war in Iraq. This is because the "Iraq war has lasted longer than World War I, World War II, and the Civil War.
More than 4,000 Americans have died. More than 60,000 have been injured and wounded. The United States may spend $2.7 trillion on this war" (Barack
Obama and Joe Biden). Therefore, ending the war would save lives of Americans and don't waste money to help another country who isn't cooperating to help
