Motivate Multiple Constituents Of The Business Schools

Dislike previous papers, this one suggests discussing the motivation of these two constituents of business schools not only separately but also as an organic whole.

Introduction:

Business schools have two aims to fulfill. The first one is to understand and develop the business concepts and ideas. The second one is to transmit these concepts and ideas to the tomorrow business leaders – current M. B. A students and then influence the business world and the whole economy. The former one is achieved by the academic exploration by the faculty members and the latter one is achieved through instructing the M. B. A students. Therefore, how to motivate both the faculty members and the M. B. A students in order to better achieve the goals of the business schools has always been a popular issue both from the perspectives of business schools and that of the organization behavior scholars. Traditional research mainly focused on the motivation of each group of them individually and little research treated motivating the multiple constituents of the business schools as an organic whole. This paper covers the previous research and tries to explore on the latter part.

As for the motivation of M. B. A students, components in the motivation of normal students will also be considered. Regarding the uniqueness of M. B. A. students, several special aspects in motivating M. B. A. students will also be mentioned.
