Media Violence
...You can find media violence on the internet, in movies, and now cartoons. The media shows that the people in our world have corrupt minds. They are creative, but yet violent. What is ashamed is that some people need violence to enjoy themselves. It is crazy, because some people actually enjoy watching people’s heads get blown off. The media really does not have a choice, because the media has to give what the society wants.
First of all, the internet is one main place that portrays a bunch of violence. You cannot do anything without running in to violence on the internet. Violence is the first thing that I see when I click on the internet. There is always an article about someone getting killed, or getting brutality injured. That is real life, and I believe everyone deserves to know, but it does not have to be the first thing I see as soon as I log on to the internet. Even the games are violent on the internet nowadays. Most games on the internet include guns, physical brawls, and many more incriminating actions. Even the little pop up games is violent. Those games normally entail how much time you can punch George Bush in the face, or shoot ten people before your opponent does. The internet is a violent place, yet sourceful, and is something we need.
Second, movies are filled with violence. Almost every single movie made in the world is violent. If you have not noticed, even the "G" stands for guidance for the rating of a movie. There are some movies that are filled with violence throughout the whole movie. I cannot lie; those are normally the best ones. I just think that it is crazy, because we as humans feel that we need violence to make a movie more interesting. For example "Scarface", that movie is high up on the violent charts.
