...part of the United States. The company provides mortgages at a competitive rate to homebuyers across five states. They have offices located in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North, and South Dakota. McBride performs most of their business through their website.
Currently McBride Financial Services’ website is basic and looks to be just thrown together. On the home page, the company has various things listed such as the mission and philosophy of the company, who their primary customers are, and what the company offers. Presently these items are completely written out over the entire page with little elaboration or graphics. It is a little overwhelming the way the site is set up. On most sites, you have links to other pages so a potential customer can read items such as the mission by itself and not with a lot of other text distracting the reader.
At the top right hand of the main page, there are two links; a home button as well as a contact us button. These buttons are practical and useful so that a potential customer can easily go back to the main page. However, the contact us button does not work.
On the other side of the main page, there is a picture of a McBride office, three web link buttons, and a scrolling text box with information about Real Estate News. The three buttons will take the user to an online application page, a map of the McBride offices, and a frequently asked questions page.
The first link to the application page is beneficial to potential customers giving them a chance to fill out the application before coming into the office as well as being paperless. The overall application setup is reasonable. The customer is able to tab through various fields but cannot see the whole application on one screen.
