Within the seven categories offered by Marriott you will find various different hotels that you can choose from when planning your stay. Choices include Marriott Hotels and Resorts, JW Marriott Hotels and Resorts, Renaissance Hotels and Resorts, Courtyard by Marriott, Residence Inn by Marriott, Fairfield Inn by Marriott, Marriott Conference Centers, TownePlace Suites by Marriott and the SpringHill Suites by Marriott. These choices all fall within the seven different Marriott hotel categories but there are also options outside of the above choices should none of them fit quite what you are looking for. You can also choose to book getaways through the Marriott Vacation club, spend an extended amount of time in a location with the Marriott ExecuStay program, travel internationally with the Marriott Executive Apartments or stay in the ultimate hotel, which has twice been awarded the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. Ritz-Carlton hotels are often regarded as some of the best hotels in the world and they are pretty rare with only 68 resorts worldwide (36 U.S, 32 international).
