She is responsible for store safety, facility maintenance, security, and compliance with state and federal regulations. Some of her essential duties include supervising the Manager of Purchasing and Inventory Manager, serving as consultant to management on operational matters for store operations and developing budgets, staffing levels, store design, product mix, and pricing structures in consultation with other management. Brenda Wagner develops policies and directs and coordinates administrative and human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, and employee services. Her essential duties include developing and maintaining a human resources system that meets top management information needs, representing management in negotiating collective bargaining agreements, and studying legislation, arbitration decisions, and collective bargaining contracts to assess industry trends.
