There should be some difference between the discussions of the research and the project. The discussion should be more than the project itself, extending to the discussion of whether the design of the project is appropriate. So the rationale should include academic research methods, not only business research methods. The objectives should include not only the project’s objectives, but also the objectives of the research, such as to find out appropriate ways for staff training courses. It also needs to discuss briefly the general process of the research, i.e. the approach (the way you are going to research on the issues, such as by comparing data collected before and after the project, or data collected from control and target groups), the methods (measures you are going to use to collect data, your training approach and methods, such as questionnaires, interviews, observations, etc.). You may discuss your prediction or expectation of the research but do not discuss your findings and results here. The findings and results of the research should be discussed in the conclusion.
Remember, the introduction should not contain every bit of detail you have in the paper, and it should not include support for a hypothesis (save that for the body of the paper). An introduction might, however, include the reasons for supporting the hypothesis as you do.
