The focus is shifting from being just a Project Manager, who gets things done to being a Project Leader who inspires others to follow.
There is no substitute for face to face meeting among team members, this will help to build relationships, establish ties, facilitate trust and foster team spirit.

In any organization there are many challenges and obstacles that hinder project success and progress but in the event of an international geographically dispersed team, this is even more of a challenge.
