In 2009 Nasa Inc. will;
• Promote HS&E process to create an “Injury free” reality.
• Develop management and supervisory staff that not only supports HS&E they lead it.
• Reinforce safety as leadership responsibility at all levels of the organisation.
• Provide clear expectations of safety and environmental performance to all employees.
• In corporate HS&E into the business processes as an operational strategy.
The senior management team is committed to achieving and sustaining an incident-free working environment which is consistent with the tenets stated above.
2 Key Objectives
We must believe that we can create a work environment which is free from injury. In order to bring about the paradigm shift required to achive “ injury free” . the key objectives surrounding HS&E forCalendar year 2008.
1- Reduce our Total Case Recordable Incıdent Rate ( TCIR ) by 25 % from 2008 rates.
2- Introduce automation via electronic reporting systems to increase management effectiveness oversight and reporting accuracy.
3- Introduce measurable, obtainable, value added matrix to all disciplines within HS&E.
4- Increase leadership and employee involvement in the HS&E process through training and employee participation programs.
5- Implement hazard recognition systems designed to build HS&E into all jobs before they begin.
6- Enhance the quality and performance of the HS&E management system to a level that achieves or exceeds compliance with corporate , regulatory and client expectations.
7- Hold line management and supervision responsible and accountable for HS/E performance.
