The name Jesus Christ is a Greek form of Hebrew words, the word “Jesus” comes from the word Joshua, which is a common meaning of “savior.” The word “Christ” comes from the word Messiah meaning “anointed one.” Mohammed means highly praised, he is considered to be the greatest minds of all of the sons of Arabia.
The recorded teaching of Jesus Christ to his disciples included miracles where he turned water into wine, walked on water, cursing a fig tree, healing the sick and multiplying a small meal to be enough to feed a crowd. His disciples that recorded his teaching included 12 men. Jesus Christ changed the world in his 30 years on this earth no one has had more of an impact that Jesus Christ. The teaching of Jesus Christ also focused on the kingdom of god (Book of Matthew). Jesus Christ taught the importance of love and kindness to everyone in the world even ones enemies, fundamentally the teachings of Jesus were Jewish and he rebuked at the hypocrisy of some of the Jewish leaders. Unfortunately Jesus Christ life was short lived but he left a lot behind. Jesus was brought before Jewish priest for trial where he confirmed he was the Messiah. Jesus was then judged as worthy of death convicted for blasphemy and handed over to the governor of Judea and Pontius Pilate for judgment, Jesus was clothed in a robe and wore a crown of thorns, he was brutally beaten and then crucified. Nailed to a wooden cross by hands and feet producing a slow asphyxiation. Upon his death the entire land went dark there was a great earthquake some of the recent deaths came back to life. His body was then taken down from the cross and placed in a stone tomb the gospels report that only Jesus’ mother and a handful of female disciples were present.
