INTRODUCTION
The company Information Solutions has got considerable growth over the years. Information Solutions is a computer consultancy that has been in business for five years in New Zealand. The company has its corporate offices in four regions and offshore. Recently, the company has faced considerable growth over the years. Due to the considerable expansion, the company is facing many difficulties in the organization. In this case study we are going to discuss the various problems the company is facing and is working in a haphazard manner.
Background
The case is about a company called Information Solutions. It is a computer based consultancy firm that has been in operation in New Zealand for many years. The company’s headquarters are located in Auckland and it has four other locations in Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin. The company is owned by two brothers who are partners. Their names are Peter and Derek Taylor. They are the ones who founded the firm. Information Solutions has approximately 66 people and 30 of the employees of the company work at the headquarters. It has around 7 to 12 employees working in the regional head of each office. Information Solutions has grown over the years, hence it is planning to expand its company offshore. The company was asked to set up a joint venture in Indonesia.
