They took notion that a search engine that analyzed the relationship between websites would find better results than existing search engines that simply listed web pages in order of how many times a searched keyword appeared on a particular page.
Google is a Relaxed setting with a Corporate Philosophy based on casual principles. With a strategy of being relaxed and not acting as other corporate juggernauts would in that they have a Non-discriminatory hiring policy that values ability over experience. So if a potential candidate doesn’t have prior experience or didn’t graduate with a certain degree, it would not matter as long as you can do the job. This strategy could have a large part in its growth and innovation that is rooted at the talent they have discovered that others in the industry may have overlooked.
A major strength is that Google is privately owned and profitable .They gained a total initial investment of nearly 1 million dollars collected from friends, family, and acquaintances. A leading strength is also innovation; Page-Rank, Google -In-A-Box Advertising. Which gains much revenue based on keywords that are sold based on a combination of price bids and clickthroughs. Allowing Companies to bid for their advertisement associated with keywords. This form of advertisement kept them ahead for it was extremely influential for enabling companies to target their consumer segment. Advertisements became not merely a hit or miss revelation to the masses but specifically targeted groups through keywords of relevancy; not Unobtrusive adds. Google pioneered this advertising model and many would imitate it but failed due to googles high traffic. For example, Goto.com that was acquired by Yahoo! and known as Yahoo! Search Marketing....
