Globalization has been defined as the “Increased integration of the world’s economics.” (Czinkota, Ronkainen, Farrel, & Mctavish, 2007).

“The transformation of local or regional phenomena into global ones. It can be described as a process by which the people of the world are unified into a single society and function together. This process is a combination of economic, technological, socio-cultural and political forces”. (Croucher, 2004)

“Globalization, the ongoing process of greater interdependence among countries and there citizens” (Fischer, 2003)

Globalization over the years has been unfolding before our eyes because of four factors that stimulate the decision making of capitalist around the world from the early days of Han dynasty to the emergence of China and India as major markets. Each definition of globalization hopes to incorporate the many facets that it comprises of.
The four factors that drive globalization today are the Cost, Market, Environmental and Competitive. Each factor has its own set of guidelines that dictate decisions by many individuals who see the global market as the place to be. Some of the factors that could drive globalization could be from the individual person or the major company, could be “How much money would it cost to make my own television or to buy one from another country?
