Friendship
...definition of a friendship is having someone who is always looking out for me, and will help me if I'm in trouble no matter what. A friend has to be someone who I can trust and who trusts me in return. Another important characteristic in a friend is someone who I can talk to, and that can make me laugh and always be there for me. A good friend is always just a phone call way.
One of the most important traits of a friend is someone who will help you if you’re in need of it. No matter how late, or what happened that person will be there for you. They will listen and give you advice, even when they have no advice to give but can just talk you through things. A good friendship also brings you close to a new family. I have a couple friends that I am so close with that I am basically seen as another child to their parents. I could go and relax at their house even if that friend was not there.
A strong friendship also depends upon mutual trust. If you can't trust each other then it is impossible to establish a strong relationship. In the past, I have been able to tell my friends about my personal feelings, and know that they

would keep my secrets to themselves. It is not possible to have a friendship if you cannot share thoughts and feelings knowing that they would just be shared with others which ruins the whole point of trust.
Another quality I like to have in a friendship is what most people say is the best cure for everything out there which is laughter. People say laughter is the best medicine and indeed I agree. Laughing is a big part of a friendship. When I am in need of some cheering up, or bored with nothing to do, I need someone there that can be mutually entertaining, someone I can laugh with, joke with and understand that were just having fun.
