PREFACE
Our world is torn apart by ideological and philosophical conflicts. The
chaotic condition of present world went away from a life-promoting environment.
In place of justice, peace and love evil thoughts are dominating.
Science and technology had reached its zenith. But human integrity is not
the goal of science and technology. It tries to stimulate the war industry, and
promotes anti-human expeditions. The thought created by the Western
Enlightenment – man became adult; he can live without religion, in dependence of
science and technology-spread all over the world. Modern humanity is trying to
become more secular.
A few, who are sensitive of the changes, are convinced that there is no
other system is capable than religion which should sustain integral human
community and life-promoting atmosphere. They are always conscious on the
transcendent nature of humanity. Paulos Mar Gregorios (1922-1996) was one
among them. People like him are advocating for inter-religious dialogue for
