College Success
...or they're looking to be the life of the party. Success is measured in small increments. "Life has meaning only if one barters it day by day for something other than itself." This famous quote was quoted by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. I believe a college student can apply this quote to their daily lives in order to succeed in college. Year after year so many college students fail. Students who succeed in college set goals and stay dedicated while on the other hand students who fail often don't set their priorities in order. Also, a student may either be broke or hung over, which is true in most cases. The majority of time, college success can be seen through character.
Students who succeed throughout their college careers are goal oriented. They set their priorities straight and stick to them. There are many factors that have to be inline in order for a student to be successful. Money is a huge issue. For that burden to be off your back relieves a huge weight. One of the easiest ways to succeed is to be able to say no. For a student to say no to a party and yes to studying is a huge accomplishment. It's so easy to be distracted and lose your way. Being able to see the light at the end of the tunnel is also another factor. Wanting to finish and take life to the next step is vital to the success or failure of a college student.
I personally believe it is easier to failure rather than succeed in college. Distractions are everywhere you look. Distractions can single handedly be a direct reason for a student to fail. Money is also another reason. Not every person is gifted enough to be sitting on the jackpot. By not having money is causes the student to work their way through college and put less concentration into their studies. Friends and family also factor in.
