Axia has a lot of learning resources that can be utilized for the success of each student. A few of the resources are very handy and very versatile in the application that you need them in. The University library offers a plethora of information that is available for use in research and general information as well as reference. The Thompson gale power search is really a priceless tool; it allows you to search for articles by author or by part of the reading. This is very useful if needing information on certain topics or people. I also found the plagiarism checker to be a great tool as well, it can guard you against academic dishonesty as well as help you to become more inspired on your own and really put your best effort forward instead of being tempted to cheat. Another one of axia’s education resources that I found to be a great help was to simply communicating with the instructors. Obviously they are there for a reason and it’s there class. So why wouldn’t they help you if your lost or confused? Also if you cannot find the answers you are looking for, Try giving the academic counselor a call and she if he/she could point you in the right direction. The biggest thing to remember is that if you are lost, No one will help you or know that you are lost if you do not speak up and find some help. The resources at axia are very helpful and almost seem unlimited at times but they are all there to make sure each student succeeds.
